He turned himself in!! Good boy!
Even though the photog got his phone back and Russell offered to pay for the window, it wasn't good enough for the cops and prosecutors.
They issued a warrant for his arrest, which prompted the actor to walk into the New Orleans police office about an hour ago and surrender.
Word is he's still in custody, but we'll keep you updated with any details as they come in!!

There is usually at least one in every town and they seem to reach out to certain people and lure them inside without really trying too hard. Once inside, those people can find it very difficult to leave. The reason is passion. To satisfy your curiosity, the place I am referring to is the guitar shop and the people it draws in.

The time to rejoice is now, friends … because Showtime has announced the premiere date of the new seasons of Dexter and Homeland. Mark your calendars for Sunday September 30 because that is the day that Dexter returns for season 7 and Homeland returns for season 2. Without question, Dexter has been one of my favorite shows (if not THE favorite) of the past 6 seasons and I am really excited for its return. I fell in love with Homeland almost immediately last year when the show debuted on Showtime and I am really looking forward to picking up the story where it left off on the season 1 finale. Click below to read the Showtime press release announcement about the return of these fantastic shows.
SHOWTIME has put together a powerful one-two punch on Sundays this fall with the premieres of its top-rated drama series’ DEXTER and HOMELAND. On Sunday, September 30th, DEXTER will make its seventh season premiere at 9:00 PM ET/PT, followed by the highly-anticipated second season of the Golden Globe®-winning drama series HOMELAND at 10:00 PM ET/PT. The announcement was made today by David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc.
HOMELAND ranks as the network’s highest-rated freshman drama series ever, and was recently awarded the Golden Globe for Best Television Drama, as well as being named one of AFI’s Top Ten Television Programs of 2011. The series averaged 4.4 million weekly viewers across platforms in its first season, and its season one finale was the highest-rated finale for a freshman series in SHOWTIME history, with five million viewers across platforms. The network's No. 1 rated series, DEXTER averaged 5.5 million weekly viewers across platforms in its sixth season, its highest rated ever. Both series will begin production this spring. HOMELAND will shoot on location in Israel and in North Carolina, and DEXTER will continue to shoot in Los Angeles. HOMELAND is a one-hour drama series that tells the story of Carrie Mathison (Golden Globe winner Claire Danes), a CIA officer dealing with bi-polar disorder, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Nicholas Brody (Golden Globe nominee Damian Lewis), a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed dead for eight years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al-Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. The series also stars Morena Baccarin, David Harewood, Diego Klattenhoff, David Marciano, Navid Negahban, Jamey Sheridan, Morgan Saylor, Jackson Pace and Mandy Patinkin. HOMELAND is based on the original Israeli series “Prisoners of War,” by Gideon Raff, developed for American television by Howard Gordon & Alex Gansa. Along with Gordon, Gansa and Raff, the executive producers for season one are Avi Nir, Ran Telem and Michael Cuesta. The series is produced by FOX 21.
One of the most acclaimed shows on television, DEXTER stars Michael C. Hall, who has earned multiple Emmy® nominations as well as a Golden Globe award for his role as a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. The show has received multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for best television drama series, as well as a prestigious Peabody Award in 2008, and was twice named one of AFI’s Top Ten television series. The series also stars Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas and James Remar. John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Scott Buck, Manny Coto, Tim Schlattmann, Wendy West and Michael C. Hall are the executive producers of the series for season seven.
This is very exciting news. We know that Dexter tends to debut on Showtime with new episodes around the end of September/start of October … but it's very nice to have a premiere date to look forward to. While Dexter season 6 wasn't my favorite, I am DYING to see how season 7 will handle the HUGE development that occurred in the final 15 seconds of the season 6 finale (those of you who watch the show know what I'm referring to). As for Homeland, well, I just loved that show from the start. It, too, ended with a cliffhanger of sorts … I'm really looking forward to seeing how things play out in the sophomore season. September 30 is the day, y'all. Let the countdown begin.
When you buy beats, whether it be club, dirty south, east coast, pop, and electronic it can be a daunting task when looking for the best deal that suits you. You could learn to make your own tracks to cut out the middle man in the process of rap instrumental production. But many recording artist willing to purchase rap beats find it easier to go this route because it gives them more time to focus on their lyrics.
People who grew up in the 60s, 70s and 80s know that fresh new musical talent got heard and promoted by the big record companies. As a result, amazingly wonderful music got heard by the masses. Today, things have changed. Most music that will be backed by the big record labels has to fit into a specific money making formula. Most of this music lacks deep musical beauty and complexity.
Downtempo electronica music originated in the United Kingdom in the 1990s. Since it has similar elements to trip hop, ambient music, and chill out, the differences between those musical styles are not so big. However, downtempo still has its own distinctive characteristics, making it an independent genre.
You might not know that record players and vinyl LP's are once again popular. It is not just collectors who are in the market for these products, but new, young music lovers are turning to vinyl like never before. New musicians and artists are releasing new albums on vinyl as well as digital formats. This is making records once again really popular. Stores are beginning to understand that there is a major market for these items. You will begin to see these products in places you never imagined.
Many girls feel that they have what it takes to become a model or even aspire to become Americas Next Top Model. There is no reason to hesitate if you feel you can be the model they need and the casting team advertise online for the model casting calls in the different cities. Models need to apply with their name, age, weight, height, contact information and three photos.
Joining an acting and modeling career can not be easy and it requires maximum dedication and hard work. To become the best you need to work harder and devote yourself. You can reach the pinnacle of your career by simply understanding the industry and also making use of the readily available acting and modeling agencies. It is a great idea to join an agency especially if you are new in the industry.
Kurt Cobain was named "the voice of Generation X", a title that he didn't appreciate well. His musical composition came as a new tune in the market at a time when pop songs such as Michael Jackson's proliferates the music scene everywhere. Right timing and good luck must have been at Cobain's side to have earned instantly the acceptance of many fans, or maybe it was his innate talent or musical genius that enabled him to weave his own kind of music that is different from the rest.

We are so proud of her!
Michelle Williams gave a really sweet acceptance speech at Saturday night's 2012 Independent Spirit Awards.
The blonde little pixie won Best Female Lead for her role in My Week with Marilyn. Are we surprised??
Watch her adorable speech above.
We have a very strong hunch that she's gonna win big at the Oscars tonight too.
Bring home the gold, Michelle!
Whitney Houston’s casket photo is causing quite the uproar. The National Enquirer published the photo and it is their cover feature. Craziness. Someone at Whitney Houston’s private ceremony took a picture and sold it to the most questionable tabloids in the world, The National Enquirer. Of course you never know what is real or fake with them, but this one is the real deal. The pic is legit, and creepy. Who wants to see a picture of a dead woman? Apparently I am one of the few who thinks like that because it is flying off shelves and is the topic of every news source imaginable, even internationally. This is also the same publication who also published Elvis Presley’s open casket photo in 1977, and later John Lennon, so I am not surprised in the least. The photo shows the late singer dead in a gold casket with the headline, “Whitney: The Last Photo!” Readers are either in awe or uproar. I just find it creepy. You can check out the picture of Whitney Houston’s casket and her alleged $500,000 jewels here. Fans were upset and took to Twitter to rant, “Whoever sold that photo of Whitney Houston in her [...]

While enjoying lovely little breaks during her strenuous work hours at the morgue, Lindsay Lohan likes to surf the internet before it's time to clean up more blood!

But the Academy is NOT having it!
Sacha Baron Cohen has been invited to this year's Oscars but sources say that he wants to bring a special guest.
The actor wants to dress as his latest character (free promotion, right?!) but the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences is worried that it would take away [...]
That's the sound we make when we hear someone losing that much money.
But it's also the sound Jill Kohl made when she slipped and fell in Paula Abdul's driveway back in 2009!!
The film crew for Hey Paula was set up when Jill took the literal plunge and she hurt herself real bad!
So she sued Paula AND the production company.
With $900,000 from Paula's side of the settlement and $100,00 from production, Jill is officially a millionaire thanks to one nasty slip!!
Damn gurl… was someone polishing that driveway with Pledge, LOL???

Tomorrow night is the fifth episode in this season of The Challenge and it seems like things are starting to get heated. Johnny and Camilla have been a strong contender, but after a night of drinking and Camilla trying her hardest to get Johnny's attention, it seems like they may be reaching a breaking point in their honeymoon phase. The teams compete in a battle of “Ship Wrecked” as they attempt to work together to use their strength and intellect to climb to the top as the power couple. Camilla’s repressed feelings for Johnny erupt in a drunken rampage as she violently and belligerently stumbles through the house. Abram and Cara Maria struggle to find a balance in their relationship, meanwhile sparks continue to fly between Ty and Paula. Paula and Dunbar seem to be doing the opposite of Johnny and Camilla and get into a groove with one another. That leads to quite a successful challenge for them, and perhaps leads them to be the power couple once again. I am enjoying this season, but I think a lot of viewers, myself included are dying to see what happens with Diem and CT. I hope they at least patch [...]
Elizabeth Smart, who at 14 years of age was kidnapped and held for nine months by traveling preacher Brian David Mitchell, married her fiance, Matthew Gilmour, in Hawaii Saturday. It was announced last month that Smart was engaged to the Scotsman and their wedding reportedly was set to take place this summer. In an effort to keep their wedding free of paparazzi and the like, their wedding date was moved up so as to keep their nuptials private. A family spokesman explained: "Elizabeth's desire was for what most women want — to celebrate her nuptials in a private wedding with family and close friends. She decided, about a week ago, the best way to avoid significant distraction was to change her wedding plans and to get married in an unscheduled ceremony outside of Utah." The spokesman went on to say that the couple were beaming as they left the Laie Hawaii Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints following their wedding, and they exchanged their "I do's" in front of family and a few friends. Their reception was private and a luau took place as well. Elizabeth and Matthew will reportedly go on a honeymoon, but of [...]
"What did you think about my song"?… Sounds like a simple question, until you have to answer it. What if you hated it? What if you thought this person should pick a new career? Some people are very cruel and have no problem delivering this "feedback", but for us folks that prefer a little more tact here are some ideas to deliver criticism.
by Ryan Rigley Bold. Brash. Bees. These are but a few of the many things that come to mind when one thinks of the magnificence that is Nicolas Cage, a man almost too bizarre for words. Actors Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill have become fast friends since they worked together on the film 21 Jump Street. This weekend, the pair made their way to Australia to promote the film and spent part of their day yesterday chillin' together on a beach in Sydney. As you can see below, Channing had no [...]
Day 3 here in Amsterdam was a very nice, very relaxing and YES very chilly day. David and Sarah spent part of the early afternoon bonding at the Anne Frank House while I stayed back at the hotel working. I finished up and met them out in Rembrandt Square were we grabbed some coffee and snacks. After an AMAZING seafood dinner last night, we just hung our around Leidseplein to finish out the night. 'Twas a very fun day, indeed.
Even tho the day was pretty overcast all day long, I still enjoyed walking the grey streets of Amsterdam. There are a lot of things to love about this beautiful city … and I was reminded of many of them as I crossed the canals along the cobblestone streets. Because we only ever come to Amsterdam in February, I don't know what it's like here in the Summer … but man, I'd like to find out some day
For dinner, we made our way to a place called Vis aan de Schide and OMG, was it just a fantastic dining experience. Everything we ate was prepared fresh … and it was BEYOND delicious:
I didn't want to obnoxiously take photos of everything we ate but man … I couldn't resist taking a few photos. I ate my face off and loved every second of it. We ended the night just walking around Leidseplein popping in and out of places. It was fun.
The plan for today is hopefully another museum, another fantastic dinner and a canal boat ride. Today is our last full day here in Amsterdam before we fly to London tomorrow evening. It's going to be really hard to say goodbye this time
